Justin Hirt has been doing electrical work in southwest Colorado for over fifteen years. Ouray Electric Co. is the shop he built when he was tired of subbing out his standards.

Justin grew up wrenching on snowmobiles in Ouray County and got his electrical journeyman card by the time he was 24. After a decade running crews for bigger shops in Montrose and Telluride, he started Ouray Electric Co. to do the work the way he wanted it done — small, accountable, and rooted here.
He'll quote your job, do your job, and pick up when you call. If something needs a second person, it's a hand he trusts. If something's outside his wheelhouse, he'll tell you and point you to the right shop.
Outside of work, he and his wife Erin are usually on a trail somewhere above 10,000 ft with their dog Hatch.

Written, itemized, and what you pay. No "ballpark" turning into 2x at the end. Change-orders only when scope actually changes, and only after we talk first.

You call, I pick up — or call back within a few hours. Mid-job, you get my cell. After-hours emergencies get a real human, not a service.
A clean job site
Drop cloths down, debris in the bin, panel cover labeled, wire nuts not left in the yard. You shouldn't be able to tell I was there — except for the part that now works.
A warranty I honor
One year on workmanship, manufacturer warranty on the parts. If something I installed acts up — call. I'll come look. That simple.
